The following terms are applicable for any products that you’ve purchased from us.

The words in which the initial letter is capitalised have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in the plural.

For the purposes of this Cancellation and Refund Policy:
“Company” (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to TURIYA
“Goods” refers to the items offered for sale.
“Orders” means a request by you to purchase goods from us.
“Website” refers to turiyaonline.com, accessible from https://turiyaonline.com
“You” means the individual accessing or using the service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the service, as applicable.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Window:
- You may cancel your order within 12 hours of placing it.
- If your order has already been processed and shipped, it cannot be cancelled. Please refer to our Return Policy for instructions on returning your order.
Cancellation Process:
- To cancel your order, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible.
- You can reach us via email or phone (refer contact us page).
- Please include your order number and reason for cancellation in your communication.
Refunds:
- If you cancel your order within the specified cancellation window, we will issue a full refund to the original payment method used for the purchase.
- Refunds may take 3-7 business days to process and appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.
Custom Orders:
- Custom or personalized orders cannot be cancelled once the order is confirmed.
- Please refer to the terms provided at the time of purchase for specific cancellation instructions for custom orders.
Return or Replacement Policy
Eligibility:
- We only accept returns or replacements for items that are defective, damaged during shipping, or if you received the wrong product.
- Please Note : Used candles, oils or any other goods sold by Us cannot be returned or refunded, except in case of product defect. This also includes partially used wax melts. Product defect does not include scent strength of the product, or dislike of the scent. We clearly state that our products are lightly scented in comparison to fragrance and should not be expected to fill a room with scent. As much as we want you to love our scents, we can not guarantee that you will love all of them!
Initiating a Return or Replacement:
- If you believe your item is eligible for a return or replacement due to damaged during shipping or if you received the wrong product, please contact our customer service team within 48 hours receiving your order.
- If your product is defective, please contact our customer service team within 15 days of receiving your order.
- You can reach us via email or phone (refer Contact US page).
- Please include your order number, a description of the issue, relevant photos and videos in your communication.
Return Shipping:
- If your return or replacement is approved, we will provide you with instructions on returning the item.
- You will be responsible for paying the return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (e.g., defective product, wrong item shipped).
Refunds or Replacements:
- Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or replacement.
- If approved:
- For refunds: A credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 3-7 business days.
- For replacements: We will ship out a replacement item to you promptly.
- If rejected:
- We will provide an explanation for the rejection and return the item to you if requested. You may be responsible for return shipping costs in this case.
Kindly adhere to all instructions provided by our Customer Care Team, which also includes the important task of trimming your wick before every burn and do not burn your candle more than 4 hours at a stretch. By following this simple request, we have successfully resolved the majority of issues faced by our valued customers!
Please be aware that any fraudulent requests will not be approved. With years of experience in crafting our candles, we have developed a keen sense for identifying such requests. As a small, family-owned business, we value honesty and appreciate your genuine interactions.
To achieve optimal outcomes, it is recommended not to store our candles for extended periods. For the most satisfying experience, kindly ensure they are burned within a year of purchase. Our candles are free from preservatives, unlike many synthetic candles offered by large brands.
